About DEA Build
A family business built on experience.
DEA Build was founded by Clint, who has been working in the building industry since the age of 20.
Over more than two decades, Clint has gained broad experience across almost every aspect of residential construction, from foundations, concrete and earthworks through to framing, roofing, renovations, additions, high-end builds, retaining and landscaping.
Today, DEA Build is a family business, with Clint working alongside his two sons, Kingston and Roman.
Kingston is a third year building apprentice, while Roman is a first year apprentice. They're learning the trade the way Clint believes it should be learned, hands-on, on the tools, with an emphasis on doing things properly and taking pride in the finished product.
More than 20 years in the building industry means we’ve seen a lot, and know how to solve problems when they arise. As Licensed Building Practitioners (LBPs) & trade-qualified carpenters and roofers, we bring qualified experience, practical knowledge, and a hands-on approach to every project.
For us, building is more than a business.
It's a family, a trade and a legacy.

DEA Build is intentionally boutique.
We don't want to take on hundreds of projects and become another large construction company where the owner is nowhere to be seen.
We prefer to work closely with our clients, understand what they're trying to achieve and remain personally involved throughout the project.
That means attention to detail, clear communication and genuine accountability.
We're not the cheapest builder — and we're not trying to be.
We believe quality construction is an investment. Our focus is on delivering excellent workmanship, using the right materials, finding practical solutions and creating something that will stand the test of time.

One of the things we're particularly passionate about is design and build.
Rather than simply taking someone else's plans and constructing them, we want to work with clients from the beginning,
helping develop ideas that are beautiful, practical and genuinely buildable.
Our construction experience gives us an understanding of what works on site, what doesn't, where costs can be saved intelligently and where it's worth investing.
We can bring the design and construction process closer together, creating a more seamless experience from the first concept through to handing over the keys.
